This is the fall breeding plan. When we have confirmed does are bred we will list approximate due date for the 2021 kids. We do reserve the right to retain any kid born on our farm even if there is a reservation. Doelings and bucklings can be picked up at 8 weeks of age however in 2021 we are not releasing wethers until 12 weeks of age. Reservations can be made via email or the contact form. We posted costs next to each breeding however if you are a returning customer, if you do DHI testing or purchase more than one animal we will discount.
All goats are on a schedule for yearly for CAE/Johne's/CL testing. New animals are are tested prior to being allowed to integrate with the rest of the herd. We tested clean across the board in 2019 and 2020. We are happy to copy lab results of the parents for any kids sold. Kids are not tested until a year of age. Ultrasounds and biannual bloodwork is done for us through the vets at New Pittsburg Large Animal clinic here in Wooster. We also do pregnancy testing through DHI Cooperative for does that are still in milk.
